Esthetician Wisdom: how to make your skin its most brilliant


What you put in to your body and mind will show up on your skin.  Think about how you manage stress, and what type of food and sugar you’re ingesting.  If you’re having breakout issues, try adding more greens and water into your food rotation.


If you’re having  a stubborn skin issue, change the pattern of behavior.  Maybe it’s food, maybe it’s stress, maybe it’s simply adding a second cleanse to make sure all the detritus of the day is off your skin.  Recognizing the pattern can help you change the behavior.


Make sure your using the correct products for your skin.  The mask that a friend is using may not necessarily be the right one for your skin.  We all have varying skin types that change with the weather, food and age.  If it is challenging to find time to put on a mask, try keeping it in the shower.  Or put it on while your making breakfast.  Masking is essential for adding nutrients into the skin.


Your skin is a living, breathing part of your individual microcosm.   It needs nurturing and care.  Finding the proper care can be challenging.  Look for a skincare line that has your best interest in mind.  Not all skincare lines are created equally.  A plant based, whole food product can feed your skin.
